About STANK
The STANK Story
I DIDN’T SET OUT TO CREATE STANK.
BUT I was fed up.
Fed up with all the products and claims: its so fricken' loud out there - so many options, AND none of them REALLY work.
For more than 30 years with 2 auto immune diseases , I dealt with BO, skin issues, flare-ups, endless products and trips to specialists, and the frustration of constantly trying to manage symptoms instead of solving them.
Then something unexpected happened.
I made a simple wash for myself - something that would sooth my skin.
AND into the shower I went with my "hydrating concoction."
THE UNDERARM CHECK
After every shower since I was 11, I’ve done the same thing:
The underarm check.
I would always smell, then wash 2 & 3rd time and left with the ever so slight, lingering scent of raw onions (super hot). That I would then cover with deodorant.
This time?
Nothing... Zero odor.
I literally froze. For the first time in decades of washing and using EVERY SINGLE deodorant, wash, crystal, prescribed pills and creams, bleach, lemon - there wasn't a trace of SMELL. NOT. A. TRACE.
SO I KEPT TESTING.
First on myself.
Then my husband.
My teens.
3 dogs. 3 cats. 1 horse.
And eventually: Friends & Neighbors.
Oddly, there was a redundancy that I could no longer ignore:
“The odor is gone.”
“Their skin feels calmer.”
“The flakes disappeared.”
“My dog stopped smelling yeasty.”
"my sisters chest acne is clearing up."
That’s when I started paying attention.
THEN MY DOG ROLLED IN A DEAD ANIMAL.
Dog owners know:
This is nightmare fuel. The kind of smell that usually takes multiple
baths and somehow still lingers for days.
One wash with STANK and a few hours later?
Gone. Completely gone.
That moment stopped me in my tracks. Because this clearly wasn’t behaving like normal soap.
THAT’S WHEN I GOT SERIOUS.
I began studying, tweaking my ingredients (to make them more pet friendly), took classes, and hired a microbiologist.
What causes odor?
Why yeast keeps coming back?
Why over-washing often makes things worse?
And why so many products seem to strip, suppress, or mask instead of rebalance.
What I discovered changed everything.
Most skin issues start at the surface.
And when you reset the surface?
Everything else starts settling down and begins to heal.

Stay with STANK
